Materialistic World

We live in a materialistic world that pays insufficient attention to human values. We seek satisfaction in material things instead of good will. Most of the people have no control to their feelings and emotions. Each and every human likes to be social which certainly requires friendship which builds on trust. Building trust requires concern for others and defending their rights, not doing them any sort of harm. It actually requires a lot of appreciation and gesture which most of the people lacks. We need to learn how to counter our various emotions. Distraction is just a temporary measure. The longer lasting remedy is to be able to see positive qualities in something or someone otherwise one will be surrounded by negativity. To be a good human being one needs to decide how you live your life.

Everyone wants to lead a peaceful, happy life, but happiness and success aren’t measured by how much money you have, but by whether you have inner peace in your heart.

  1. Such on point post! I agree with you, we tend to forget about the things that in the end are the ones that really matter. We are blinded by what society makes us believe is vital for our happiness, when these ideas are completely misguided.
